The Vampire Diaires: By the Light of the Moon

I was deeply saddened by lack of Damon/Elena interaction.
I often yelled at Caroline for sticking around and being stupid when she could have gotten bitten. Like Rose.
I was SO glad Rose got bitten and not Damon. Though Damon getting bitten is still being foreshadowed. Though Damon needs more friends, I don't think he needs to get physical with Rose. How can he be in love with Elena and still do all these other girls. Unless it's just lust for him. But still...*sad face*
Haha someone sooo called that Elena was getting trapped in her house. What's she going to do about school?
Oh! Also liked Damon's line about how Elena should get some sun, then Elena pushed Jeremey off of her. :D Made me laugh...then Elena threw the pillow at Damon.
When she was trapped, I think the writers could've had Damon take more advantage of the situation. Stupid Jules. Stupid Alaric for calling him!! Though it's sweet Alaric and Jenna are together :) .
I FREAKED out when Elijah appeared in Elena's house. But by the time they were in the room, I was shouting "I love you, Elijah!!" He is so hot and nice!!!! And very charming and such a gentleman *sigh*
I had an inkling that Luca was bad...but since his dad is working for Elijah...doesn't that make him good?
As for Caroline and Tyler: I thought it was EXTREMELY sweet how Caroline cared for Tyler. I felt TERRIBLE for Tyler...Boys crying...and him being like that...um...yeah...
I kind of felt bad for Katherine.
Also I'm sad that Katherine and Stefan didn't get it on...or off *wink* I should say...curse Stefan's self-control...

Dinner For One

I just finished watching the movie Dinner For One for my German 112 course.

I'm confused about the point of the show. I understood the plot, but why?

My favorite part was when James was trying to pour wine for the second guest and pounced and basically threw the wine. And when he was drinking after that. I liked it when he jumped over the tiger's head.

So...does Sophie know all her friends are dead yet still has James impersonate them?

At first I was not amused by James tripping constantly, but it was unexpected whenever he didn't trip. Oh! Also when he had to click his heels was not funny...that is, until he missed! lol And James' facial expressions were funny and some of his movements were awkward.

Overall it was just good.

"It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like..."

I was bored so I made a song!

It's beginning to look a lot like WINTER
With ten inches of snow.
Take a look at the whitened trees,
and the pond has yet to freeze,
the students' faces take on a reddish glow.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Hats and gloves now worn indoors.
And the prettiest sight to see
is the snow fight that will be
outside your dorm's front door.

A pair of boots would be nice
so you don't slip on ice
on your slipp'ry way to class.
Your breath you can see
when you say "It's chilly"
to a friend who do you pass.
Mom and dad would scold and say
"Don't put your tongue on that glass!"

It's beginning to look a lot like winter
with ten inches of snow.
A pine near the dorm looks swell,
the one by the pond, as well.
We quiver and we shiver
as by them we go.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Soon Thanksgiving will start.
And the thing that will make us sing
is the "no class" email that will bring
joy to the students' hearts.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Hats and gloves now worn indoors.
And the prettiest site to see
is the snowfall that will be
outside your dorm's front door.

Drema1116

So I had a crazy dream.

I was with Suzanne and Chelsea and Nathan.
My mom went to the hospital and had a baby.
We were at an indoor ski place. There were some stairs where we could down to watch.
There was this cute guy there and, at one point, I was skiing for him (almost from his perspective, but not).
Then the power went out or something and we were trapped in the area by all these vending machines and none of us had money except for Nathan. I also really wanted to go out to the car and grab my money and flashlight...but couldn't.
Then this guy came up and we played a game where we tried to steal each other's rings. I got his three or four...but we gave them back.

Then I'm walking out with the cute skinny guy but he got hurt*gasp!* He had gotten beat up. He had sort of long blonde hair (it went past his ears) and had blue eyes. He had blood on his shirt so I gently hugged him and he hugged back :) .

And next I'm walking out with Suzanne and Chelsea, and we see a white wolf in the woods. We RUN like heck to the car. It attacks the car as soon I as get in. I might have swore and my mom and Suzanne and Chelsea laughed and made fun of me.

But then I'm driving the car and we have to get to the hotel. It's empty and dark out with three lanes. I tell Suzanne I don't have to do something or go somewhere and she said we could turn earlier then. But we were too late. I missed the turn so I pulled into McDonald's parking lot and turned us around (actually drove around).

And that's where I woke up.

Glee Quote

Will Schuester: C'mon, guys, there has to be a Journey song we haven't done yet.

I CRACKED up laughing... :)

'ello! TVD is Driving Me Mad!

'ello!
I'm writing with a British accent.
I just watched TVD...Katerina and thought it was amazing minus Damon and Rose at the end...a bit...meh...made me sad.
After watching the promo for Sacrifice, I am elated that Damon and Elena will confront and Damon may toss Elena over his shoulders and carry her. Or I'm just amused by him saying that and her trying to punch him (silly idea). Um...and Alaric being "naked" HILARIOUS!! He cracks me up! Elena walking in on him and him offering her some "chunky monkey?" lolz.

I am extremely grieven to know that there is only one more episode (IN THREE FREAKIN' WEEKS I MIGHT ADD) before the holiday hiatus. URgh.

Well, I read this aloud as I typed it out (in a British accent I might add).

Pip, pip, cheerio.

Mom...

She won't let me grow up.
She still wants to control my life.
She's picking me up Friday and wants me to have everything ready blah blah blah be in my room and not off studying blah blah blah so we can hurry up and leave blah blah blah. *rolls eyes*
I've been practically living on my own for three months...I don't think I'll be home much in December until the start of break since I'll have been home every weekend in November so I can celebrate birthdays and whatnot...
Grr...
My mom needs a major distraction. Focusing on one depressing thing for too long can eat one from the inside out...trust me...I know...

@Superchickband

Seriously...what the hey is up with my life. My news is bipolar: extremely happy or extremely sad.

Glee was sweet...I'm not sure how I felt about the whole kissing thing...and so is the fact that SUPERCHICK IS FOLLOWING ME ON TWITTER!!!!! *excited face*

I made an appointment at the counseling center. I am overloaded on homework and emotional issues and am suffering from lack of sleep.

I am so lost. I need God. TAWG time perhaps... *tries to smile*

Home

I don't know where home is anymore.

I'm scared to go home because things will be different and it doesn't seem like home anymore because I only live there every other weekend.

College isn't home yet either. It doesn't have that homey feel.

The only comfort I have right now are God and the fact that Christmas lights are being put up in the pine trees.

I'm lost.

The Vampire Diaries: The Darkest Side of Me

Hey all!
The title in the title bar is the name of a fanfiction. Peeps on the VD Forum were raving about how good it was so I decided to take a peek.
To my horror...the story was about rape! Damon raping Elena.
For the first chapter I thought he was possessed or something!! So I tried to brave it out and get through the second chapter (and perhaps the plot would start)...no luck.
So I was wondering what the heck is up with people! Are people these days perverted enough to enjoy reading rape stories? I was disgusted!!
That is all.
Laters!

"Hello? Hello?"

English is definitely my calling. It all started in Global Lit when we were talking about the Plot triangle thing (you know, Exposition, initial conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, denouement) and I got totally excited. :)

I haven't read much of C.S. Lewis, but from what I've heard, I want to achieve the same amount of success and use his ideas for my writing. True, I am not currently writing any stories, but I've been getting some unique ideas. I love my adventure and fantasy stories, no doubt there, but when I write, I think it'd be incredibly neat to sneak in some Biblical references and themes.

Thursdays TVD

Hello all.

I am utterly, extremely, immensely, seriously broken and depressed and pummeled and upset due to last night's premiere episode of The Vampire Diaries: The Return.

I--like many others---have been waiting months for "The Return" of this fantastic, addicting series. I've been reading forums, reading and writing fanfics, and searching YouTube for any new webclips or commercials.

ETA: I failed to write during my first viewing because I was just so impatient to watch the bloody show (no pun intended). Let's just say that I yelled at my computer screen often and cried at the end (but was unable to sob too hardcore because my roommate was in the room for the last fifteen minutes of the show). I felt defeated and empty and shocked when I went to bed. I couldn't believe what had happened. My TVD foundation was shaken.
ETA: I am doing well now except for going insane due to lack of Damon/Elena interaction.
