"It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like..."

I was bored so I made a song!

It's beginning to look a lot like WINTER
With ten inches of snow.
Take a look at the whitened trees,
and the pond has yet to freeze,
the students' faces take on a reddish glow.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Hats and gloves now worn indoors.
And the prettiest sight to see
is the snow fight that will be
outside your dorm's front door.

A pair of boots would be nice
so you don't slip on ice
on your slipp'ry way to class.
Your breath you can see
when you say "It's chilly"
to a friend who do you pass.
Mom and dad would scold and say
"Don't put your tongue on that glass!"

It's beginning to look a lot like winter
with ten inches of snow.
A pine near the dorm looks swell,
the one by the pond, as well.
We quiver and we shiver
as by them we go.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Soon Thanksgiving will start.
And the thing that will make us sing
is the "no class" email that will bring
joy to the students' hearts.

It's beginning to look a lot like winter.
Hats and gloves now worn indoors.
And the prettiest site to see
is the snowfall that will be
outside your dorm's front door.
